Fill out the form at venkaris.com. Give me as much detail as you can, including reference images if you have them. The more I know, the better.
I get back to you within 3 to 5 business days. I’ll either accept and send an invoice with the project details, or tell you I can’t take it on right now.
You pay the full amount upfront. This is when the contract starts. From here, the main updates happen over email.
I send 1 to 2 rough sketches. This is where you give feedback on direction, pose, composition etc. Nothing moves forward until you’ve approved.
After sketch approval I will move through linework, shading, coloring, and final rendering. I will send you an update at each stage.
You get the final PNG and speedpaint by download link.
Yes. Additional characters increase the price. The exact amount depends on how complex each character is and how they interact in the scene. Describe what you have in mind in the form and I'll quote it when I review your request.
If the finished artwork does not match the approved sketch, has a rendering error, or the file arrives corrupted, I will fix it at no charge. This does not count as a revision round. You have 30 days from delivery to flag it. I do not refund for personal taste changes after you have approved the direction.
Yes. If you need a bit of time before posting, I'll hold off on sharing for 30 days at no extra cost. If you need complete and permanent confidentiality, no portfolio use, no process recordings, no public mention, I offer a Privacy Package for an extra 40% of the base fee. This needs to be agreed before the project starts.
Typically 3 to 6 weeks, depending on queue and complexity. I'll give you a more specific estimate when I accept your request. If you need delivery within 4 weeks from the start date, a rush fee applies. Under 2 weeks requires a significant additional charge. Both are listed in your invoice.
Mostly fluffy dragons and protogens, but any other species is welcome too! Include references in the form and I'll let you know.
Two revision rounds are included. Small changes are fine: color adjustments, line refinements, minor detail tweaks. Changes that significantly alter what we agreed on cost extra: a completely different pose, a redesigned background, new characters or elements that weren't discussed. If you ask for a major revision, I'll give you a price and timing estimate and get back to you within 5 business days.
A high-res PNG. I don't provide layered files. If you have a specific resolution requirement, mention it in the form. I archive all finished artwork, so if you ever lose your download link, contact me and I'll resend it.
No. All commissions are SFW only.
The base price covers one character at the tier you pick. Additional characters add a flat fee each. The background type adjusts the price up or down based on complexity. If you need it by a specific date, a rush fee is added to the subtotal at that point. Commercial license and privacy package are added last, both calculated from the base tier price only, not the total.
The commission form shows a live estimate as you fill it out. The final price is confirmed in the invoice after I review your brief. If I need to adjust it for a complex request, I'll always explain why.
If you want to use the artwork to make money or promote a business (merchandise, book covers, ads, branding), you need a commercial license. This costs an extra 100% of the base commission fee. You can add it upfront or upgrade later; the upgrade price is always based on the original base fee. If you're commissioning fan art, commercial licensing may not be possible depending on the IP. We'll discuss it during the review if that applies.
Yes, you can cancel at any time. If I have not started sketching, you get a full refund. Once work starts, refunds follow a simple checkpoint rule: each stage is split into two halves, with 50% earned when the stage starts and the other 50% earned when I send that stage update for review. Any stages I have not started are fully refunded. EU clients still have a 14-day withdrawal right from payment; if work has started, the same checkpoint rule is used to calculate the refund. Full details are in the Terms of Service.
